Toad in the Hole
Ingredients
- 3 sausages
- 1 egg
- 70g plain flour
- 90ml Milk
- 1/2 an onion
- 1 tbsb veg oil
Method
- Preheat oven to 200C
- Put oil into small roasting dish and heat briefly in the oven
- Put the sausages in the roasting dish and cook for 15 minutes
- Make batter by mixing the egg, flour and milk with a whisk
- Slice onion into half moons
- add onions to the sausages and pour over the batter
- Cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes
